About the artist
Birgit is a sought after self taught international artist and instructor, known for her original art and inspirational teaching style. She has won numerous National and International awards and is signature member of LWS & CWA, among other memberships including Cambridge Who’s Who, Who's who in America and Who's who in American woman. She has written two books published by North Light publications “Watercolor in Motion” and “Watercolor Essentials” and has been included in over 40 national and international publications. Her most current publications being INK in New Mexico, Florida, Dobry Zank (publication in Poland) "L'Art de l'Aquarelle in France, Artist Magazine and Watercolor Artist Magazine in the United States.
Birgit has developed numerous successful instructional online and DVD programs to help students find their own creativity and find their confidence within the difficult medium of watercolor.
