Tuesday, October 8 10:30-3:30
Mary Wojciechowski
This workshop will explore the unique qualities of alcohol inks and how they may be used for flowing abstracted and representational works. It is designed for those who have some prior experience and who would like to learn new tools with more advanced techniques in handling this exciting medium. This class is highly experimental and students will explore the unique nature of the inks with a sense of creative playfulness during the process. Adding floral and landscape elements to abstracted foundations will be included to render those subjects in ways impossible with most other mediums.
All painting materials and Yupo will be provided.
Students are each asked to bring an apron or smock and some small pieces of cardboard to use in carrying their paintings home.
