This workshop is open to all levels and will be divided into two parts:

*During the morning session, there will be an introduction to monotype printmaking using small gel plates, GoldenOpen Acrylics and a variety of found and natural materials. Participants will have the opportunity to create numerous prints with both single and multiple layers of color while exploring the endless creative possibilities of this medium.

*During the afternoon session, participants will use the prints made in the morning session to make finished ’take home’ works such as collages, cards and matted art. Printmaking materials will be included as well as cards, envelopes and 8x10 mats/backing for finished pieces.  Join us for a stress-free introduction to monotype, the art of the unique print, and enjoy the explorative and experimental atmosphere.

Instructors:
