  • $105 is a package price is for RIWS members who sign up for all 6 classes before 1st class begins.

    Members who sign up after the 1st class has started, must first have permission from the instructor to sign up, and the class fee will be $20 per class. (The pkg price will no longer apply).
  • $135 is a package price is for non-members who sign up for all 6 classes before 1st class begins.

    Non-Members who sign up after the 1st class has started, must first have permission from the instructor to sign up, and the class fee will be $25 per class. (The pkg price will no longer apply).

Date and Time: August 31 -October 5, 2016. Wednesday mornings from 10am - 12:30pm.

Class Description: 
This class will emphasize painting rocks, trees, water and buildings that can be used to create a landscape.  Emphasis will be in mixing colors directly on the paper, learning to use controlled washes and creating textures that simulate actual objects used to paint a landscape.  This six week class will have students using photos of their own to learn the basics of watercolor and how to push it to more than just copying the photo.
